TN Visa Sponsorship

The TN visa is a nonimmigrant work visa available to Canadian and Mexican citizens under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA, formerly NAFTA). Absolute IT sponsors qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals for TN status in designated professional occupations.

TN Visa Process

• Absolute IT prepares a detailed TN offer letter specifying the professional occupation, job duties, qualifications, and compensation.
• For Canadian citizens: TN status can be obtained directly at a U.S. port of entry or pre-flight inspection facility. No prior petition with USCIS is required.
• For Mexican citizens: A TN visa must be obtained at a U.S. consulate in Mexico before entry.
• Initial TN status is granted for up to 3 years.
• Extensions can be filed in 3-year increments with no maximum limit.

Port of Entry Application (Canadian Citizens)

Canadian professionals can apply for TN status directly at the port of entry. You will need to present your TN offer letter from Absolute IT, proof of Canadian citizenship, proof of professional qualifications (degree, licenses), and the applicable filing fee.
