Absolute IT complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States.
Framework Overview
The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework provides a mechanism for companies to transfer personal data from the European Union to the United States in a manner consistent with EU law. Absolute IT has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Data Privacy Framework Principles with respect to such data.
Principles We Follow
We adhere to the following principles: Notice — we inform individuals about our data practices; Choice — we offer individuals the opportunity to opt out; Accountability for Onward Transfer — we ensure that data transferred to third parties is protected; Security — we take reasonable precautions to protect personal data; Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation — we limit data use to stated purposes; Access — we provide individuals with access to their data; Recourse, Enforcement and Liability — we provide effective mechanisms for compliance.
Dispute Resolution
In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework Principles, Absolute IT commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. European Union individuals with inquiries or complaints should first contact Absolute IT at privacy@absoluting.com. Absolute IT has committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the DPF Principles to an independent dispute resolution mechanism.
