Your account security is a shared responsibility. Follow these guidelines to keep your Absolute IT account secure.
1Strong Password Practices
Use a strong, unique password for your Absolute IT account. A strong password should be at least 12 characters long and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Never reuse passwords across different websites or services. Consider using a reputable password manager to generate and store complex passwords securely.
2Account Access Control
Never share your login credentials with anyone, including Absolute IT employees — our team will never ask for your password. Enable multi-factor authentication if available. Log out of your account when using shared or public computers. Review your account activity regularly and report any suspicious logins immediately.
3Keeping Your Information Current
Regularly review and update your contact information, especially your email address and phone number, as these are used for account recovery and security notifications. Ensure your security questions and recovery options are up to date. If you change your email address, update it in your account settings promptly to avoid losing access.
4Account Recovery
If you are locked out of your account or suspect it has been compromised, use the password reset function on our login page. If you are unable to regain access, contact our support team at info@absoluting.com with your registered email address and a description of the issue. For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before restoring access.
