Your resume contains sensitive personal and professional information. Absolute IT takes extensive measures to protect your resume data.
1How We Protect Your Resume
All resumes uploaded to Absolute IT are stored in encrypted databases with access controls that limit visibility to authorized recruiters working on relevant positions. We use role-based access control to ensure that only team members with a legitimate business need can view your resume. All access to resume data is logged and auditable.
2Resume Sharing Controls
You have control over how your resume is shared. By default, your resume is only shared with potential employers for positions that match your stated preferences or that you have expressly applied for. You can adjust your resume visibility settings at any time through your account dashboard. You may also request that your resume not be shared with specific employers.
3Protecting Sensitive Information
We recommend removing highly sensitive personal information from your resume before uploading, including: Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, date of birth, and photographs. While we protect all information entrusted to us, minimizing sensitive data reduces risk in the event of any unauthorized access.
4Resume Deletion
You can delete your resume from our platform at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your resume will be removed from our active databases within 48 hours. Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days as part of our regular backup rotation before being permanently removed.
