1How to Recognize Phishing Emails
Be cautious of emails that: create a false sense of urgency demanding immediate action; request sensitive personal information such as passwords, Social Security numbers, or bank details; contain suspicious links or unexpected attachments; use poor grammar, unusual formatting, or generic greetings; come from email addresses that do not match official Absolute IT domains (@absoluting.com).
2What Absolute IT Will Never Ask Via Email
Absolute IT will never send you an email asking for: your account password or login credentials; Social Security number, bank account numbers, or credit card information; payment for job placement or training materials; wire transfers or gift card purchases; or immediate action threatening account closure. If you receive such a request, it is not from Absolute IT.
3What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Email
If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Absolute IT: do not click on any links or download any attachments; do not reply to the email or provide any personal information; forward the suspicious email to security@absoluting.com for investigation; delete the email from your inbox; and if you already clicked a link or provided information, change your Absolute IT password immediately and contact our security team.
